Experimental study on bulge deformation of geotextile under ring-restrained conditions

چکیده

Geotextile layers are arranged on and below the geomembrane to prevent from being punctured damaged. The geotextile not only plays a role in physical protection, like anti-puncture but also makes great difference mechanical properties of geomembrane’s air expansion deformation. In this paper, bulging deformation is simplified as spherical under ring-restrained conditions. Using special test equipment, experiment realized, main factors affecting analyzed, law failure summarized, mechanism Influence discussed, following conclusions drawn. geotextiles belongs tensile failure, which characterized by fast speed high strength. typical mode spindle-shaped cracks distributed along crown, whose produced weak areas. shows nonuniformity, with largest at crown top smallest ring constraint. When covered geomembrane, pressure shared both geotextile. At initial stage, replaces it, then bears more internal decisive till destruction.
